Moh Saleh.. the founder of judo in the east coast

Perhaps there is no dispute about the great admiration in the East Coast region for the game of judo, which was established by the Japanese Jigor Kono in 1882, and came out of the womb of the sport of Jujitsu, which is an admiration and love for the game (the soft way) as it is called, established for decades, but the greater spread of the game in society, and its professionalism In its official form, it dates back to 2009, specifically when the Syrian Dr. Moh Saleh Al-Mouh formed a short judo team consisting of 3 players.

The story goes back to Al-Mouh’s supervision of the training of four players to train judo at Ajman University of Science and Technology in Fujairah at the time. They are the two brothers Omar Al-Suwaidi and Salem Al-Suwaidi, and the two brothers, Saif Al-Attar and Saud Al-Attar in the sport of judo in 2009, and a month did not pass since that, until Al-Mouh announced the formation of a team of 12 players, They later became the first core of the Fujairah judo team.

Al-Mouh (38 years) contributed with his move to the spread of the game in three regions on the eastern coast and trained more than 1,000 players in the Fujairah regions since 2009, during which he worked at the Child Center in Khorfakkan from 2011 to 2015, and in the area against us from 2012 to 2016, then he devoted himself to training work Fujairah Martial Arts Club after announcing the establishment of a specialized club that will host all martial arts games in Fujairah in 2015 under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah.

Now, after judo has established itself in Fujairah, Al-Mouh is betting on the qualification of a player from the Fujairah Martial Arts Club to the 2024 Olympics, which the coach deems not difficult, and for this he set a number of requirements, including the full player's emptiness and non-compliance with any other obligations, continuity and non-compliance. Achievements

Al-Mouh achieved a number of achievements with the players of the East Coast, as he led them to the coronation of 24 colored medals in international championships, in addition to the local championship medals that exceed hundreds.

The international medals amounted to 4 medals, which Kamal Ahmed Al Hosani won two silvers in the Gulf Cooperation Council championship, a silver, a bronze in the Asian Cup, 6 medals for Yassin Nematov, two bronzes in the 2016 Asian Cup, a gold in the 2015 European Cup, a gold in Thailand International 2018, and two bronzes in the Arab Club Championship 2015 - 2016.

His player Saeed Al-Naqbi won 5 medals, the gold of the Arab Championship 2019, the gold of West Asia 2019, the bronze of West Asia Youth 2019, the gold of the Arab Teams Championship 2019, and the bronze of the Arab Club Championship 2020.

His player Hamid Khamis Al-Naqbi won the bronze of the 2016 Greek International Judo Championship, in addition to 3 bronzes for Abdullah Namatov, which are the West Asian Bronze 2019 for Youth, the Bronze of the Asian Club Championship 2019, and the Bronze of the Arab Club Championship 2020.

Challenges and difficulties

Al-Mouh acknowledged the existence of a number of difficulties and challenges facing the player, coach and management, noting that the player suffers first from a lack of full-time, because the game needs to accumulate experience and skills without interruption, in addition to the lack of security and job guarantee for him in the game, and the lack of rewards and financial motivation.

Al-Mouh called for the importance of harnessing all possibilities, especially for talented people, to achieve achievements and raise the flag of the state externally.

As for the difficulties facing the coach, Al-Mouh said that the latter shares the factor of full-time with the player, in addition to the importance of implementing his technical plan without hindrances and full commitment to implementing all steps such as adjusting the schedule of local or external participation or setting up camps, the importance of having a psychologist for the player, which is necessary on Such as the skill and physical preparation, whether for the player or the team, as well as the lack of technical devices (such as blood oxygen meters during training and muscle recovery) and the application of technology.

On the challenges of the administrative side in clubs and national teams, he stressed the importance of having a long-term strategic plan and not rushing to results, in addition to the importance of governance and evaluation of what is achieved for each stage individually.

Experience and qualification

Al-Mouh received his doctorate in 2015 in the philosophy of sports training sciences from the Arab German University of Science and Technology, specializing in judo training. He obtained a master’s degree in the same specialty, a bachelor’s degree in Tishreen University, Training Department, and an international diploma in judo training and sports preparation from Tokai University (Japan 2015).

He taught in a number of universities, including Aleppo University and Al-Furat University. Last year, he obtained a certificate of a certified trainer from the Ministry of Education in the UAE, a certificate from the International Federation for Training Unified Schools in America, and another from the International Federation as an organizer in the World Judo Championships during the years 2011 to 2013, in addition to He is an international blind judo judge Kodokan Tokyo (2018). He also received a number of certificates in organizing, commentary, television analysis, sports medicine, kickboxing, and holds a judo black belt.
