1. What is stored in your browser
- Your cookie choice (accepted or declined), kept in the browser’s local storage so we do not ask again. It never leaves your device.
- Your accessibility settings (text size, contrast, reduced motion and the like), also in local storage, so the page opens the way you set it.
- Your recent searches on this site, in local storage, so the search panel can offer them again. You can clear them from the panel.
- Google Analytics cookies — _ga and _ga_Y7MTB2CHV9 — only if you accept them. They give your browser a random identifier so visits can be counted; they are set with the Secure flag, limited to this site (SameSite=Lax), and expire after 13 months.
2. Why we use analytics
Analytics tells us which pages are read, which disciplines people look for and where the site falls short, so we can improve it. IP addresses are shortened before they are stored, Google signals and advertising features are switched off, and the data is not used to identify you.
3. Changing your choice
Use the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of any page, or the button below, to see the notice again and choose differently. Declining removes nothing you have already allowed in your browser; to delete existing Google Analytics cookies, clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
4. Third-party content
- The branch maps on the contact page are embedded from Google Maps. Google may set its own cookies inside those maps under its privacy policy; the maps are loaded only when you open that page.
- The registration form sends your details and documents directly to the club’s registration system, operated for the club by Performs. This site keeps no copy.
