His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, stressed the importance of distinguishing women's sports in the Emirate of Fujairah, which supports the sporting achievements of the UAE and enhances its position in the sports field at the Arab and international levels.
This came when His Highness received the players of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club yesterday morning at His Highness’s office at the Emiri Diwan in Fujairah, on the occasion of their success, achieving distinguished results and presenting a distinguished performance during their participation in the Al Hassan International Open Taekwondo Championship, which was held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, earlier this month, and ranked in the world classification “G1” The International Federation, in which they won 12 medals, 3 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze, while His Highness received the player Saeed Samir, who won a precious bronze medal in the same tournament.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah also received the player of the national team and the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, Ahmed Al Hosani, who won the bronze medal in the Asian Judo Championships, which was held in Macau this month. His Highness congratulated the players and players for their outstanding achievement, stressing the importance of continuing excellence and achieving greater successes in the upcoming tournaments.
In turn, Brigadier General Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, President of the Emirates Taekwondo Federation and Executive Director of the club, gave success and victory to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, in appreciation of His Highness' support for the sport of Taekwondo in the UAE.
