Mohammed bin Hamad receives the world champion Fujairah Taekwondo team

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, received yesterday in his office at the Emiri Diwan the champions of the Taekwondo team at the Fujairah Martial Arts Club on the occasion of winning the Best Club Cup and winning six medals in the "World Taekwondo Club Championship", which was held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

His Highness congratulated the players for their outstanding achievement, stressing the need to maintain this success and to compete in their upcoming competitions with the highest levels of perseverance and commitment.

He urged them to abide by the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, that sports ethics be the most prominent feature for them when representing the name of the UAE in all sports forums, and to work hard to achieve the first places in sports tournaments in line with the UAE's position in the world.

His Highness thanked the club's family, its technical and administrative staff and its players for the efforts they made to achieve these successes, calling for more achievements, winning the best medals and consolidating their Arab and international presence.

He heard from Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Taekwondo Federation, a briefing about the club's participation in the last tournament, its future benefits, and the tournaments it is preparing to participate in. The meeting was attended by Salem Al-Zahmi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah.
