Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the "Bride of the East Coast" will host the fourth edition of the Fujairah International Open Taekwondo Championship (junior youth men), which is organized by the Fujairah Martial Arts Club under the supervision of the International Federation of the Game and the Emirates Karate and Taekwondo Federation in The period from 23-25 of this month in Khalifa Hall in Fujairah, with the participation of 550 players representing 58 countries from different continents of the world, led by the UAE, which participates with 70 players representing the national team and a number of state clubs, in addition to the Arab and Gulf countries and many stars and champions of Asia and Europe.

This came during a press conference held by the organizing committee yesterday afternoon at the Millennium Hotel Fujairah, in the presence of Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, Nader Abu Shaweesh, Technical Director of Fujairah Club, in addition to Saad Al Dahhar, General Manager of Millennium Fujairah Hotel (Championship Hotel) and a number of From various media to review the latest preparations and the most prominent participants in the event.

Al Zeyoudi confirmed the completion of all preparations for the launch of the fourth edition, which will be the best in terms of organization and strength of competition compared to previous tournaments and will achieve many of the desired goals, especially after the tournament was awarded the (C2) classification, which is one of the high international classifications to become the first in the Gulf and the second on the level of the Asian continent. The players who win first places receive double classification points, which provides the participants with the opportunity to compete and qualify for the upcoming Olympic Games in Brazil 2016, as well as contribute to the technical return of the tournament, spread the sport of Taekwondo in the countries of the region and develop the level of clubs and national teams by creating opportunities for friction and exchanging real experiences. It brings together many teams and champions of the game of both sexes.

Al-Zeyoudi announced the presence of Dr. Shu Kokki, President of the International Federation and President of the World Taekwondo Academy for the championship and evaluation of the technical level and organizational aspects, in addition to the President of the Asian Confederation and many sports personalities interested in the game, especially that the UAE is looking forward to hosting the World Taekwondo Championships in the near future.

The organizing committee revealed the most prominent international players participating in the fourth edition, led by the Moldavian Aaron Cook, the holder of the title of the previous two editions and the number one in the world and qualified for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, along with the Brazilian player Aris Silva, the Belgian Jawad Al-Ashhab, the Jordanian world champion Ahmed Abu Ghosh and the French Rahia and Jane, in addition to The two champions of Morocco, Wiam Deslam and Hakima Meslahi, who qualified for the Olympics and the stars of our national team.
