The Taekwondo Elite Cup deservedly goes to Fujairah
The Taekwondo team at the Fujairah Martial Arts Club was crowned today with the first place cup in the overall standings of the UAE Elite Championship, which is held under the supervision of the UAE Taekwondo Federation and is a tournament dedicated to elite national players. This cup victory was accompanied by 37 colored medals distributed as follows:
14 gold, 14 silver, and 9 bronze medals.
Mr. Nader Abu Shawish, Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, congratulated the President of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, the first supporter of the club, and praised the performance of the players and the technical staff. He added, with this achievement, the Fujairah Martial Arts Club maintains the lead this season and clings to this title and maintains won the General Excellence Shield title for the sixth consecutive season. This tournament is considered the main support for the national Taekwondo team, and thus the club maintains its position and duties to provide the team with new blood and competencies to participate internationally. It is noteworthy that the club and the team are preparing for the upcoming international competitions at the beginning of next year, as it has been confirmed Participation in the Arab Cup Championship and the Fujairah International Open Championship in its eleventh edition, which is hosted by the Emirate of Fujairah.
