His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, witnessed the honoring ceremony held by the Fujairah Martial Arts Club yesterday at the Novotel Fujairah Hotel on the occasion of the end of the 2017-2018 sports season, during which the club’s children achieved abundant achievements that made it the first among the individual games clubs in wrestling sports. The ceremony included many different paragraphs and was attended by Abdulaziz Buhendi, Director of the Office of the General Sports Authority in the Eastern Region, Major General Mohammed Ahmed bin Ghanem Al Kaabi, Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, and his deputy, Brigadier General Mohammed bin Naieh Al Tunaiji, along with Eng. President of the Emirates Taekwondo Federation and Vice Chairman of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, in addition to a large gathering of sports movement symbols, directors of local departments, all players affiliated with the club, and a number of parents.

Brigadier Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Vice President and Executive Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, said in a speech that the current season is one of the most prominent sports seasons that the club has experienced, coinciding with the "Year of Zayed" after the success of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club in achieving an important sporting, administrative and technical leap at both levels. Local and international, the name of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club became frequent in international meetings, especially in Taekwondo.

Al-Zeyoudi also touched on the achievements of the club's teams this year, which have doubled compared to previous seasons in a distinctive way in terms of type and number to be added to the club's rich record, as the number of cups and medals in the current season increased to 252 colored medals, a difference of 103 medals from last year, which gives the impression that the performance of The club's teams are rising happily, which is the harvest of the unlimited support for the Crown Prince of Fujairah.

On the international level, Al Zeyoudi considered Fujairah’s file to win the hosting of the final round of the Grand Prix and the Taekwondo World Cup, the most prominent international event scheduled for next November, thanks to the support and directives of His Highness, the Crown Prince of Fujairah. He described the distinctive hosting of the Fujairah Open Taekwondo Championship, which was held last February at the Zayed Complex The athlete, during which "Emirates Lung" achieved unparalleled success through the distinguished organization and the official and popular presence that exceeded expectations, in addition to the Taekwondo team winning the cup for the best club at the level of the World Club Championship in the colored belts, which was held in Jordan.

He said: The promising boxing team excelled and won all the tournaments organized by the Boxing Federation this season, as an achievement that no state club had preceded. In judo, the team won the Federation Cup and many colorful medals, in addition to the inclusion of ten players in the national teams, and the Fujairah team won second place in wrestling as well About summoning five players to the national team, and the club achieved the first gold medal in the Fujairah International Jiu-Jitsu Championship through player Abdullah Nematov, and 6 other medals in the Abu Dhabi International Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship. Al Zeyoudi was also keen to thank the strategic success partners and sponsors, led by the Fujairah Educational Zone and the General Sports Authority. He also thanked the technical and administrative bodies and coaches in general, and to the players who made victories, their teachers and dear parents.

At the end of the ceremony, His Highness, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, honored the players with achievements and their technical and administrative bodies. The honor also included sponsors and success partners.
