Mohammed bin Hamad honors the achievements of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club

Yesterday, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, honored the owners of sports achievements in the Fujairah Martial Arts Club and its partners, and this came during the third annual ceremony held by the club at the Novotel Hotel in Fujairah and witnessed the honoring of 485 male and female players who managed to win medals in each of Taekwondo Judo, jiu-jitsu and wrestling, both locally and internationally.

The ceremony included many different paragraphs and was attended by Abdulaziz Buhendi, Director of the Office of the General Sports Authority in the Eastern Region, Salem Al-Zahmi, Director of the Office of the Crown Prince of Fujairah, Ahmed Hamdan Al-Zayoudi, President of the Taekwondo Federation and Vice Chairman of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, Engineer Muhammad Saif Al-Afkham, Director General of Fujairah Municipality, and Sharif Mohammed Al-Awadi, Director of the Free Zone in Fujairah and member of the Olympic Committee, in addition to a large gathering of sports movement symbols, directors of local departments, all players affiliated with the club, and a number of parents.

Al Zeyoudi began his speech by thanking His Highness, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, for the continuous care and support that the club's players enjoy in various games, which had a positive impact in the tournaments and the impressive results achieved by the people of Fujairah, which are added to the series of previous achievements, pointing out that the current season is one of the most prominent seasons. The sports club that the club went through, coinciding with the “Year of Tolerance” by hosting many international and international tournaments and achieving an important sporting, administrative and technical leap at the local and international levels. The name of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club has become frequent in international meetings, especially in Taekwondo, and it is welcomed in all meetings. This would not have been possible without the support of His Highness, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, and the achievements were achieved in implementation of His Highness's insightful vision, and in implementation of his generous directives that the Fujairah Martial Arts Club contribute to supporting Emirati sports in martial arts games in a prominent way and access to the world.

Al-Zeyoudi also touched on the achievements of the club's teams this year, which doubled compared to previous seasons in a distinctive way in terms of type and number to be added to the club's rich record, as the number of cups and medals in the current season increased to 485 colored medals, 260 medals different from last year, which gives the impression that the performance of The club teams are rising distinctively.

At the international level, Al Zeyoudi considered that Fujairah's hosting of the final round of the Grand Prix and Taekwondo World Cup last November was the most prominent event, and stressed that hosting the Asian Judo Championship last March and the Fujairah Open Taekwondo Championship at Zayed Sports Complex achieved unparalleled success through the distinguished organization and official and popular attendance Which exceeded expectations, in addition to granting the Fujairah Martial Arts Club a shield of general excellence in Taekwondo and the Cup for the best team at the level of the World Club Championship in the colored belts that was held in Jordan.

At the local level, the Taekwondo team was crowned with the general excellence shield at the state level, in addition to the brilliance of the boxing team for the promising and winning all the tournaments organized by the Boxing Federation this season as an achievement that no one of the state clubs had preceded, and in judo the team won the Federation Cup and many colorful medals besides It included ten players for the national teams, and the Fujairah team won second place in wrestling, as well as summoning five players to the national team. The club also achieved a number of medals in the Fujairah International Jiu-Jitsu Championship and the Abu Dhabi International Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship that took place in the capital recently, stressing their determination to continue The march from year to year for the better and for the club to become an important and vital tributary for the development of Emirati sports, especially in the aspect of individual games.
