The judo team of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club won the Japanese Ambassador's Cup in Judo, which was held on Friday 11-15-2021, at the Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy in the capital, Abu Dhabi, under the auspices of the Japanese Embassy in the country.
The club's players won 14 medals, including 5 gold, 1 silver and 8 bronze.
On this occasion, the family of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club dedicated the achievement to His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, and to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and President of Fujairah Martial Arts Club, for the unlimited support that contributed to the qualitative shift of sports in the club. In general, and in judo in particular, which resulted in the continuation of the distinguished results and the brilliance of the players. The Executive Director of the club, Ahmed Hamdan Al-Zeyoudi, praised the distinguished efforts made by the technical and administrative bodies and the players to achieve the achievements. He congratulated all the winning players, wishing them more success and brilliance.
And the medals were won by Saeed Khamis, gold at 73 kg, youth, Sultan Issa, gold, 90 kg, youth, Yazan Sumar, gold, 50 kg, juniors, Ahmed Al-Jak, gold, 81 kg, juniors, Ahmed Nasser, 90 kg, juniors, and Mohammed Al-Hassani. Silver with a weight of +90 kg for juniors, and the player Mohammed Ahmed Abdel-Jalil won bronze for 55 kg for juniors, Adnan Al-Mismari won bronze for 60 kg for juniors, and Ashraf Tariq won bronze for 60 kg for juniors and Rashid the Younger, bronze, for weight 66 kg
