The Taekwondo Federation announced the registration of 75 male and female players in the UAE Open Taekwondo Championship, which begins this morning, hosted by the Kalba Union Club, with the participation of eight clubs: Ajman and Sharjah for individual games, Sharjah for self-defense sports, Fujairah for martial arts, Kalba Federation, Masfout, Dibba Al-Fujairah and the Key Fighters team Abu Dhabi). The Game Federation said in a statement yesterday: "Today, the men's competitions will be held with the participation of 40 players, while the girls' competitions will be held tomorrow, with the participation of 35 players, and the tournament will be supervised by technical director Muhammad Ishaq, and the head of the referees committee Khaled Al-Muqbali." The current tournament marks the start of the taekwondo season, which will include holding 10 tournaments.
