Sheikh Hamed bin Khadim Al Hamed, President of the Emirates Boxing Federation, honored the boxing team players who excelled during the international tournaments in which they participated, whether at the first team or youth level. The honoring included a number of Fujairah Martial Arts Club players who represent the mainstay of the national teams. They are Abdullah Al Mulla, who won the gold medal in the Gulf Championship that was held in Saudi Arabia last month, and his colleague Hassan Al Madani, who won the silver medal, in addition to the duo Ahmed Ramadan and Sultan Salmin, who won the bronze medal. In the Arab Youth Championship that was held in Morocco.
Adel Al-Ashry, coach of the boxing team at Fujairah Martial Arts Club, expressed his happiness with the good results achieved by the club's players in various local and international tournaments, pointing out that honoring 4 of the boxing team's players reflects the weight of Fujairah boxers in the national teams by joining more than ten players in Various Sunni groups thanks to the continuous support enjoyed by the Fujairah Martial Arts Club and the boxing team in particular by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, Honorary President of the Club, to contribute to the prosperity and development of the game and His Highness’s keenness that Fujairah players are always at the highest readiness And a willingness to honor the state and raise its flag, and through continuous preparation by establishing strong preparation camps externally and internally.
Al-Ashry also praised the efforts of Ahmed Hamdan Al-Zeyoudi, vice-chairman of the club’s board of directors and CEO, who works to overcome difficulties and provide all means of comfort to the players, and indicated that the Fujairah champions are determined to continue the march of achievements, competition and service of Emirati boxing.
