Players launch the Olympic champion project in Fujairah 60

Within the project of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, to prepare the Olympic champion, which was launched recently by the Fujairah Martial Arts Club in cooperation with the educational district with the aim of nurturing and developing the technical and mental capabilities of talented athletes, 60 players were approved to launch the project, which aims to prepare the Olympic champion and graduate athletes. Champions who have the ability to compete and raise the country’s flag in international forums by winning Olympic medals in Taekwondo and Judo.

Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Vice President and Executive Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, confirmed that the first phase of the project included the exploration of talented athletes from the Fujairah Educational Zone. 60 players, including to continue training under the leadership of coaches specialized in taekwondo and judo, as well as technical and mental lectures.”

Al-Zeyoudi indicated that the project is not limited to judo and taekwondo only, as it is planned that the rest of the sports practiced in the club, namely: jiu-jitsu, boxing and wrestling, will join in the near future.
