The Fujairah Martial Arts Club team won the Emirates Wrestling League title after winning 9 medals, including 5 gold, two silver and two bronze. The championship was organized by the Emirates Wrestling and Judo Federation at Al Ansar International School in Sharjah, in which 50 players from 6 clubs participated.
Al Ansar Center team from Sharjah came in second with 6 medals, including gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze. Abu Dhabi team came third with silver and bronze, while Dubai team came in fourth with one bronze.
As for the individual level, 6 gold medals were distributed, of which the Fujairah Martial Arts team won 5 medals. It was for Saif Mubarak in the under 57 kg weight, Nawar Ammar in the under 65 kg weight, and Obaid Rashid Obaid in the under 74 kg weight, and he won gold in the weight Fujairah player Sultan Issa under 86 kg, while his colleague Ahmed Muhammad Khamis won the heavyweight medal, and Sharjah team player Idris Muhammad won the sixth gold medal by defeating Abu Dhabi silver player Muhammad Idris.
At the end of the tournament, which witnessed everyone’s commitment to health controls, the winning teams were crowned with championship cups and colored medals for the three places of different weights, and a commemorative shield was presented to the director of Al-Ansar International School in Sharjah for hosting the tournament and providing all the requirements for its success.
