Fujairah National Wrestling Day Champion

The Fujairah Martial Arts Club team continued its brilliance and crowned the Open National Day Wrestling Championship for the year 2019-2020, which was held in the Al-Ansar Private School Hall in Sharjah, and witnessed the participation of more than 100 players of different weights, born 2003, 2004, 2005.

The Fujairah team, coached by coach Tawfiq Ibrahim, won 10 colored medals, 6 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze. Al Ansar International School in Sharjah came in second place with 8 medals (3 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze), and the Al Muhallab School team in Dubai came in third place with gold and bronze.

At the individual level, 10 gold medals were distributed for different weights, and Al-Fujairah Club had the lion’s share, which ensured it took the lead and won the championship title with 6 gold medals, won by Yasser Darwish in the under 45 kilograms, Abdullah Rashid in the under 51 kilograms, and Abdullah Omran in the underweight 65 kg, Ashraf Tariq Lozan at under 71 kg, Khalifa Muhammad Looz at under 80 kg, and Nawaf Khaled in under 92 kg, while the remaining gold medals were won by Obaid Ibrahim (Al Muhallab School), Hamad Ibrahim (Al Ansar - Sharjah and Shamil Ramzanov). Al Ansar - Sharjah", and Abdul Warith Abdul Qadir "Al Ansar School - Sharjah".

At the conclusion of the festive tournament, for which Al Ansar International School in Sharjah harnessed all the requirements for success, Mohammed Jassim, Assistant Secretary of the Federation, Shaaban Al Sayed, Technical Secretary of the Federation, and a number of administrators, parents and coaches crowned the first winners.

Muhammad bin Thaloub Al-Dari, President of the Wrestling and Judo Federation, praised the return of the sport of wrestling with strength, thanks to the efforts of the organizing committee and the cooperation of clubs and technical equipment, which contributed to the selection of many promising players for the national teams.
