Fujairah announced the official announcement of the jiu-jitsu team during the press conference held yesterday at the Siji Al-Diyar Hotel in Fujairah, in the presence of Abdulaziz Buhendi, Director of the Office of the General Authority for Youth and Sports Welfare in the Eastern Region, Zayed Al-Khuzaimi, Acting Khalifa Fund for Youth Programs Development, and Nader Bu Shawish, Technical Director of Fujairah Club for martial arts, and Rashid Abdullah Al-Hamoudi, director of the Fujairah Jiu-Jitsu team and the media.
Buhendi began the conference by congratulating the wise leadership on the occasion of the holy month and the sports family, pointing out that the formation of the Jiu-Jitsu team in Fujairah will contribute strongly to the dissemination and practice of the game in all cities of the eastern region, stressing the support of the General Authority for all youth activities and events that will develop and develop sports capabilities.
Zayed Al-Khuzaimi, Acting Director of the Khalifa Fund for Youth Program Development, said: The fund found the idea of a jiu-jitsu club project wonderful, so it worked on studying it and started providing support for its success since last year. To continue its bid well, and we will continue to support it until it is an integrated and independent team in all aspects.
For his part, Abu Shaweesh, technical director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, welcomed the formation of the jiu-jitsu team, stressing that His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah directs to support all individual sports, especially those that depend on physical strength, wishing the jiu-jitsu team success and achieving its desired goals.
Rashid Al-Hamoudi stressed his happiness with the great response that the idea of forming a Jiu-Jitsu team in Fujairah and participating in it in the various tournaments held at the state level to gain experience and friction, until the day comes, which is considered as the official announcement of the birth of the Fujairah Jiu-Jitsu team. A distinguished personality among the country’s teams and clubs in jiu-jitsu, based on the strategy of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, aimed at developing the youth and sports sectors and encouraging him to support individual games, as they are a major mine for the achievements and great support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi Crown Prince of Fujairah for all kinds of sports.
