Muhammad Al Sharqi directs to include judo in Fujairah activities

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and Chairman of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, directed, during his meeting with the club's board of directors, to officially include judo in the club's activities, bringing the number of sports officially practiced in the club to three, in addition to boxing and taekwondo.

Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Vice Chairman of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, thanked His Highness for his wise guidance, which contributes to the development of the general technical return of sports in the Emirate of Fujairah and the country in general.

Al Zeyoudi continued, "According to His Highness' directives, judo has become a sport that deserves it, and the club will provide enough space for all athletes to participate and compete, and our main goal is to build a strong team that competes in local and international judo tournaments and to be one of the clubs supporting the UAE judo to contribute to providing the national teams with distinguished and talented players." To represent the state in international forums.. He confirmed that the club's management continues with the Emirates Wrestling and Judo Federation to coordinate its official adoption in the new season's competitions and to benefit from their great experience by providing technical and logistical support to the club's team.

He announced the appointment of Dr. Moh Saleh Al-Mouh, a judo specialist, to supervise the team as Judo Manager, in addition to being the general coach, due to his experience and knowledge in this regard and his good biography, stressing that the team will receive all the attention for the success of its mission, indicating that a contract will be held. A press conference later to highlight the club's future vision, and to introduce the team members.

For his part, Nader Abu Shaweesh, technical director of the club, said: “All the necessary facilities will be equipped to ensure the practice of judo in a regular and distinct manner, in a manner that befits the unlimited support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and the status of the club, which has become known for its merit and achievements locally, Arab and internationally for what it has provided to sports in general. And for martial arts sports in particular, and also worthy of his prominent name in many international federations, including the World Taekwondo Federation, and that the Board of Directors is keen to continue the same approach through judo, stressing that the team will officially launch its training in the coming days on a regular basis.

In turn, Dr. Moh Saleh Al-Mouh, director of the judo team and general coach, said that entering judo within the activities of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club is a joy and happiness for the club’s children and fans of this sport, and supports their aspirations to develop their technical levels to be in the front of the UAE champions in judo, and thanked His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah for his generous initiative He said that the initiative will lead to a qualitative leap in the near future.

The Crown Prince of Fujairah supports the "Iron Man"

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, affirmed his support and support for Mohsen Al Ali, who is participating in the "Iron Man" World Championship to be hosted by the United States next September.

His Highness urged Al Ali, when receiving him in his office in the Emiri Diwan, to make every effort to win the championship. For his part, Mohsen Al Ali expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, for his support of sports and athletes.
