"Judo Fujairah" champion of the "National Day"

The Fujairah Martial Arts Club won the National Open Judo Championship, which was organized by the Wrestling and Judo Federation in the Khorfakkan Club Hall under the slogan "Instilling the Union", and witnessed the participation of 70 players from 6 clubs.

The champion won 12 medals (4 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze), and ittihad Kalba Club (the title holder) finished runners-up with 9 medals, including 2 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals, while Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club came in third place with two golds, and Sharjah Club came fourth The athlete with 5 medals, 2 silver and 3 bronze, fifth in Khorfakkan Club and sixth in Al-Jazira.

The Fujairah team’s gold was won by Ahmed Bayer in the under-66 kg, Celso De Sawa in the under-73 kg, Hajo Faris in the under-81 kg, and Wakun Jang in the over 100 kg weight category, Fujairah player, while Ahmed Faisal won the gold in the under-55 kg. Al-Naqbi is a player for Ittihad Kalba, and his colleague Malik Termir Sultanov won the gold in the under-90 weight, and the Sharjah self-defense gold was won by Moataz Tawfiq in the under-60 weight, and Muhammad Mahran in the under-100 kg.

Nasser Al-Tamimi, Secretary-General of the Wrestling and Judo Federation, crowned the winners in the presence of Mohammed Jassim, Assistant Secretary, Salem Mohammed Rashid Al-Naqbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Khorfakkan Club, Saeed Al-Mazrouei, Vice President of the Kalba Union Club, and Khaled Murad, a member of the Khorfakkan Club Board of Directors, crowning the winning clubs and championship stars. For his part, Mohammed bin Thaloub Al-Dari, President of the Wrestling and Judo Federation, praised the organizational success achieved by the tournament, and said: “This success would not have been achieved without the efforts and attention of the Khorfakkan Club Board of Directors headed by Salem Mohammed Rashid Al-Naqbi, and the club deserved a gold medal of distinction for its wonderful role in providing All requirements for technical, administrative and organizational success, as well as strict adherence to precautionary measures.”
