The judo players of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club have qualified for the final round of the UAE Judo Championship for the youth and junior categories that will be held next February, without the need to compete in the second qualifying round of the championship that will be held next month, in a technical achievement that is the first compared to the previous participation of the team that He managed to achieve the "full mark", four victories from four matches his players participated in in the first round organized by the Emirates Wrestling, Judo and Kickboxing Federation recently at Al-Raqqa Sports Center in Sharjah.
Fujairah, Kalba and Al Jazeera teams topped the IPIC Judo League competitions for age groups, after the tour organized by the Wrestling, Judo and Kickboxing Federation in the Etihad halls for the Abu Dhabi group teams and Al-Raqqa Child Center in Sharjah for the second Sharjah group.
The tour witnessed the participation of 18 teams, including 10 clubs for different age groups, and the first category for those born in 2002-2003-2004 witnessed the participation of the teams of Al-Jazira, Al-Wahda, Al-Dhafra, Al-Ain, Sharjah, Fujairah, Ajman, Kalba, and Newgera Hall, while the category for those born in 1999-2000-2001 included the teams of Fujairah, Sharjah, Kalba and Al-Khaleej. Dubai Judo Kai, Al Jazeera, Al Wahda, Al Dhafra, and New Jersey.
The first category witnessed the leadership of Fujairah, Kalba and Al Jazira teams with 6 points each from two matches, and Al Dhafra and Al Ain teams came in second with 3 points, then the teams of Sharjah, Ajman, Al Wahda and New Gera clubs.
As for the second category, Fujairah team topped the list with 6 points, and Al Jazira and Kalba came in second with 3 points, then Al Wahda and Al Dhafra with one point, then Sharjah, Al Khaleej and Dubai Judo Kai teams. Nader Abu Shaweesh, technical director of Fujairah Club, praised the results achieved by judo players, which reflect the fruit of the unlimited support and generous care of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and his support for talented athletes.
Dr. Moh Saleh Al-Mouh, the team's coach, confirmed that the technical levels presented by the players demonstrated the technical escalation of the team, which is full of many distinguished talents that represent the future of the game.
