Fujairah Triathlon prepares for the season with a test race on the Corniche

The Fujairah Triathlon team of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club is preparing to participate in the season’s competitions, most notably the Deira Triathlon Championship in coordination with the Emirates Game Association, with the participation of all eight team members, led by the game’s champion Mohsen Al Ali, founder of the team, Saif Ali Moaded, Ali Khalifa, Hamad Khalifa, Saeed Ahmed and Khaled Al-Mashal, Youssef Yaqoub and Moroccan coach Ashraf Al-Khudairi.

The team recently held a trial race on the Fujairah Corniche, with the participation of its eight elements, to determine the level of the players so that their technical and physical levels can be evaluated so that the technical staff can develop a training plan with high capabilities in preparation for the upcoming benefits.

He confirmed to "Vision", Mohsen Al Ali, the unlimited support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and Chairman of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, and His Highness's interest in sports and athletes in the emirate, and they were recently able to sign a Moroccan coach, Ashraf Al-Khudairy, who also represents the team as a player, pointing to They train daily for two hours in the evening in order to reach the best preparedness.

Al Ali added, “We established the team in 2018 with four players and since the beginning of this year they joined us like them. We are all making a great effort with the aim of participating in the largest number of local tournaments, especially with the cessation of triathlon activities globally in light of the health conditions experienced by everyone, and then we seek to increase the number of our participations. In the Gulf, as well as the benefit that we derive from the interaction with the international stars of the game in the Dubai and Abu Dhabi championships, all of which contribute to achieving our main goal, which is reaching the Olympics, a dream that the club’s management plans and will become a reality in the near future. ”

He thanked the Fujairah Martial Arts Club for its support and supervision of the game, in addition to the support of Mr. Ahmed Jabr, Vice President of the Emirates Triathlon Association, for his diligent follow-up to all players at the state level.

The team members won their last awards last January, when Mohsen Al Ali won first place, and Ashraf Al-Khudairi took second place in the Al Hudayriat Diathlon (running - cycling - running) with the participation of more than 104 players from more than 10 nationalities.
