Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, President of the Emirates Taekwondo Federation and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Fujairah International Championship, stressed that holding the course in Fujairah is an important step prior to the launch of the upcoming tournament by qualifying and activating the referees who will participate in the arbitration of the tournament and supervising the competitions for the practical and scientific lessons they receive about the sport of Taekwondo, in addition to viewing On the most prominent amendments that were approved at the General Assembly meeting that was held in Canada on the sidelines of the World Junior Championships last November, as well as the session being an ideal opportunity for our national cadres to learn about the new rules of the game and the amendments, in addition to exchanging experiences with their counterparts from different countries of the world.
Nader Abu Shawish, technical director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, announced the completion of all preparations for the launch of the fifth edition, which will be the best in terms of organization and competition strength compared to previous tournaments and will achieve many of the desired goals, especially after the tournament was awarded the classification (C2), which is one of the high international classifications to become the first in the Gulf and the second on the The level of the Asian continent, and the first-place players receive double rank points, as well as contributing to the technical return of the tournament, spreading the sport of taekwondo in the countries of the region and developing the level of clubs and teams.
