The competitions of the fifth edition of the Fujairah Open International Taekwondo Championship continued, which concludes today under the supervision and organization of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club in cooperation with the International Federation of the Game and the Emirates Taekwondo Federation, with the participation of 668 male and female players representing 28 countries from different continents of the world, led by the UAE, which has 70 players.
The results of the second day’s confrontations in the junior category resulted in the crowning of the Uzbek Talaboi in the first place and the gold in the weight of 39 kg, and the Pakistani Rafiah Khan came second. In the adult results, the Russian Ivan won the gold in the 45 kg weight category, his compatriot Vajikan came in second place, and Sharjah player Youssef Khaled won third place.
In the 48 kg weight category, Russian Alain Roman won first place, followed by Sharjah players Amr Ishaq and Anas Amer with silver and bronze, and in the 51 kg weight category, two women from Kazakhstan won gold.
As for the girls’ competitions, the French Rihani Dalia won the gold in the weight of 33 kg, and in the weight of 37 kg, the first place went to Idana from Kazakhstan, and Mira Abdul Rahman Al Kharabsheh from the Fujairah Martial Arts Club came in third place.
In the 41 kg weight category, Gomoa Shahid from Egypt won the first place, and Maryam Taher Hussein from the Fujairah Martial Arts Club came in the third place, and in the 44 kg weight category, the player of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club Sara Abdul Rahman Al-Kharabsheh won the first place, and the Ajman Club player Goody Samer came in second and ranked Ras Al Khaimah player Aisha Jamil third place.
In the under-51 kg weight, Maram Fatnasy from Qatar won the first place and the gold medal, and the player Hala Abdul Rahman from the Fujairah Martial Arts Club came in second.
In the 55 kg weight, Nour from Sweden won the gold, and in the 59 kg weight Sarah Ahmed from Dubai won the gold, and Arwa Rafiq from the Ajman Club came in second place, and in the weight above 59 kg, the player Darren Faraj from Palestine won the first place and the gold medal.
