The UAE champions continued their march of excellence in the Fujairah Open Taekwondo Championship, organized by the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, under the supervision of the International and UAE Federations, with the participation of 2,100 male and female players representing 45 countries from different continents of the world.
UAE players managed to raise their medals to 65 medals during the third day's competitions. In the buds and juniors categories, they won 18 gold, 13 silver and 34 bronze.
The national team was able to win two medals, one of which was gold through Sultan Al-Suwaidi in the junior competitions in the weight of 61 kg, and the other was bronze by Ahmed Al-Dhanhani in the 47-kg weight category for the junior category, while the Fujairah martial arts players achieved 22 colored medals, including 5 gold, 6 silver and 11 bronze medals.
