The players of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club were crowned with the General Total Cup for all categories “males and females” in the first edition of the Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Taekwondo Championship, which was held over the past two days at the Murbah Sports Hall under the supervision and organization of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club and the game union with the participation of nearly 400 players. And players from various state clubs performed at good levels, during which the Fujairah champions were able to continue the march of excellence and won the first place well-deserved, while Ajman came in second place, and Golden Sport took third place.
Brigadier Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, President of the Emirates Taekwondo Federation crowned the winners in the first places, and praised the accuracy of the organization and performance provided by the players, stressing that the unlimited support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and the godfather of the game, led the sport of Taekwondo to a good move. That will take the game for the better in the near future.
For his part, Abdullah Hatem, the coach of the national team, confirmed that the tournament, although it is specialized in colored belts, the players and players provided all the ease of technical performance and tactical discipline, confirming the talent that everyone enjoys.
Hatem paid special tribute to the players of the Sharjah Club for Individual Games and the Self-Defense Sports Club, as well as the players of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club.
