Mohammed Al Sharqi meets with the Fujairah Martial Arts Club and congratulates his players for winning two gold medals in the Asian Championship and the Asian Cup in fencing.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, met in his office at the Emiri Diwan, with the Fujairah Martial Arts Club team, and the national and club players who won gold medals in the Asian Championship and the Asian Cup for the Cubs in fencing.

His Highness congratulated player Al-Hiyam Al-Balushi for winning gold in the Asian Cup for Juniors in fencing, and player Faris Al-Balushi for winning gold for the first time in the history of participation in the Asian Fencing Championship.

During the meeting, His Highness also reviewed the club’s report for the first quarter of 2024, the organizational structure, the results of the Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Ramadan Martial Arts Tournament, and the club’s upcoming tournaments within its future plans.

His Highness appreciated the efforts of the club team in paying attention to various combat sports and developing them and forming an attractive platform for young men and women to develop their skills in self-defense sports and participate in local, regional and international tournaments, stressing the support and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, for the sports sector in general. And push its competitive indicators to the highest levels.

His Highness received from the club the Guinness World Records certificate obtained by the club by organizing a record lesson for the largest Taekwondo training session with the participation of 302 male and female players in the international camp organized by the club.

The Fujairah Martial Arts Club team extended their thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, the honorary president of the club, for His Highness’s great support for the club’s work and its plans towards developing all martial arts.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al-Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, and Nader Abu Shawish, Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club.
