The Fujairah Martial Arts Club added a new distinguished achievement to its international balance of cups and medals achieved by Emirati women in international forums, after the club player Hayam Al Balushi won the gold medal in fencing in the fluorescent category for women, within the Kingdom Open Championship for three weapons, which was held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Mira Al-Hammadi won the silver medal in the performance category, and Hamda Al-Tamimi won the fluorescent silver for women as well, in an achievement that reflects the generous support and care of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and President of the Fujairah Club for Martial Arts.
The active participation was supervised by coach Mahitab Wasfi, who was able to lead the team in a professional training manner that reveals her distinguished training status. It is mentioned that the tournament witnessed the participation of a group of distinguished female fencing players from different countries of the world.
In this context, the club's director, Nader Abu Shawish, appreciated the new international achievement, stressing that it is an important addition to the Emirati sport of fencing, revealing that the team prepared before participating in this important tournament in an indoor camp for seven days inside the club, and the players were able to invest in its positive atmosphere and achieve the results that paved the way for medals, expressing his happiness The level with which the players appeared, noting that it is a good preparation for the next season.
