The competitions for the third edition of the Fujairah International Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship, which is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, will start at 2:00 pm today, with the participation of more than 800 male and female players representing 30 countries, from different parts of the world. Triathlon Yas organizes training sessions for runners
Triathlon Yas organizes a wide range of free training events that are provided to the riders, whether they are beginners who participate for the first time or experienced runners, and the training activities include classes in running, cycling and open water swimming so that the competitors can develop their performance and test their endurance in preparation to be able to from achieving the goals they set for themselves when they participate.
With the aim of allowing a wide range of different members of society to participate and lead a healthy lifestyle, Triathlon Yas organizes these free training events in different parts of Abu Dhabi, such as Yas Marina Circuit, Zayed Sports City, Al Raha and Al Wathba Cycling Track.
The Triathlon Yas includes two categories for experienced professionals: the Olympic race category, which consists of swimming for a distance of 1500 metres, cycling for a distance of 38 km and running for a distance of 10 km, and the short fast category “Sprint”, which includes swimming for a distance of 750 metres, cycling for a distance of 22 km, and running for a distance of 5.5 km.
Triathlon Yas will also witness the "Kids Triathlon" race, which is dedicated to the category of young people between the ages of 9 and 16, who will test their abilities in swimming for a distance of 100 metres, cycling for a distance of 6 km and running for a distance of 1.5 km.
