The Fujairah Martial Arts Club celebrated its players on the occasion of receiving many awards at the closing ceremony of the sports season of the Emirates Taekwondo Federation, which was held yesterday, coinciding with the Taekwondo Championship of His Highness the President of the State, hosted by the Sharjah Club for Individual Games, in the presence of Khaled Al Midfa, Assistant Secretary-General of the General Sports Authority and Brigadier General Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, President of the Emirates Taekwondo Federation, Salem Obaid Al Hossan, President of Sharjah Sports Club, in addition to Suleiman Abdul Rahman, Head of Individual Games of Sharjah Club, and Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Owais, President of Sharjah Club for Self-Defense Sports.
The Taekwondo Federation awarded the Fujairah Martial Arts Club a shield of general excellence for the 2018-2019 season, for the second year in a row. It also crowned the shield of successful organization of the Grand Prix Championship, the World Team Championship and the Fujairah International Championship in a distinctive way, in addition to the Best Player Cup, which was won by Yasser Samir, and the Best Female Player Cup. It was won by Badriya Mohammed from the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, and the youth and girls teams won the President's Cup. Al Zeyoudi presented the achievements to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, Honorary President of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club.
