Mohammed bin Hamad inaugurates the Asian and Pacific Judo Championships

The opening ceremony of the championship was attended by Mohammed bin Thaloub Al Derei, President of the Emirates Wrestling and Judo Federation, Saeed Abdul Ghaffar, Secretary General of the General Sports Authority, along with Abdulaziz Buhendi, Director of the Authority’s Office in the Eastern Region, Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, President of the Taekwondo Federation and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, and Obaid Zayed Al Anzi, President of the Asian Judo Federation, in addition to To the leaders of the sports movement in Fujairah.

After the coronation ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi praised the impressive successes that the "Bride of the East Coast" has achieved by hosting many sporting and community events and the efforts of those responsible for it, and their role in the continuation of this success throughout the previous years. His Highness added that the sports events offered by the Emirate Fujairah contributes to achieving the desired goal of making sport a way of life for citizens and residents of the UAE, stressing the importance of preserving the advanced stages of judo in the country in general and Fujairah in particular, and motivating talented players for the game by participating in tournaments Local and international, expressing his thanks to the AFC and UAE family for their supportive role in the championship competitions and their success.

In his turn, Obaid Zayed Al-Enezi, President of the Asian Judo Federation, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, for the great interest that contributed to the advancement of judo.
