The Crown Prince of Fujairah witnesses the conclusion of the second Ramadan "Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Course" for martial arts and crowns the winners of its competitions

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, affirmed the role of sports tournaments in advancing the sports sector, attracting emerging and young talents, investing their energies, and providing the national teams with distinguished players, which contributes to the advancement of the sports sector in the country.

This came during the presence of His Highness, the closing activities of the second edition of the Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Ramadan Course for Martial Arts, which was held under the auspices of His Highness at the Zayed Sports Complex, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi and Engineer Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the UAE and Asian Fencing Federations, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Saeed bin Tahnoun, Secretary General of the UAE Wrestling Federation, and Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Raisi, member of the Executive Office of the National Olympic Committee.

His Highness referred to the support of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, for all sports tournaments hosted by the Emirate, and His Highness's directives to provide factors supporting their success and achieving their goals, in a way that contributes to strengthening the Emirate's presence in the field of sports in the Arab world and globally.

His Highness honored the winners of the Ramadan sports tournament, praising the organizational level of this year's edition, and the positive and honorable results achieved by the players and competitors, stressing the importance of the tournament in revitalizing the sports sector and providing it with talents from different age groups.

The tournament, which was held under the supervision of the Taekwondo, Wrestling, Fencing, Boxing and Judo sports federations, witnessed the participation of 389 male and female players from various local and Arab sports clubs. Its competitions included five sports: taekwondo, judo, wrestling, boxing and fencing.

The closing of the tournament was attended by Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, President of the Emirates Taekwondo Federation, Anas Al Otaiba, President of the Emirates Boxing Federation, Nasser Al Tamimi, Secretary General of the Judo Federation, Treasurer of the International Judo Federation, and a number of directors and officials in Fujairah.
