The junior wrestling team begins its camp in Fujairah

The camp of the UAE national wrestling team for juniors began yesterday, hosted by the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, which will last for 3 days. The camp will be held in cooperation between the club and the Emirates Wrestling and Judo Federation, and 10 players selected to represent the UAE wrestling during the next stage, which begins with participation in the international championship. For junior wrestling, which will be held in Saudi Arabia at the end of March.

The list approved by the Federation’s Board of Directors, headed by Muhammad bin Thaloub Al-Dari, President of the Wrestling and Judo Federation, included Yasser Khamis Al-Mazrouei (45 kg), Saud Juma Al-Taliji (48 kg), Muhammad Abdul Ghaffar Hatim (51 kg), Ahmed Jassim Al-Thamiri ( 55th weight) Muhannad Younis Al-Arif (60th weight), Muhammad Mishaal Al-Samahi (65th weight) Issa Ahmed Al-Thumairy (71st weight), Ahmed Salem Al-Khaznawi (80th weight), Muhammad Ali Mubarak in (92nd weight) and Badr Al-Ali, who participates in the weight competitions (110 kg), and the technical staff includes Shaaban El-Sayed, technical director and coaches, Ryan Sogart and Tawfiq El-Sayed.

Mohammed bin Thaloub Al Darei, President of the Wrestling and Judo Federation, praised the efforts and support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, for the age sports teams in various sports, which represents support for UAE sports, and thanked Brigadier Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, President of the Taekwondo Federation on behalf of the Fujairah Club family. Martial arts for the continuous interest in the different age teams of the Federation and their continuous contribution to support individual games, which reflects the bright face of UAE sport in external forums.

Mohammed bin Thaloub Al-Dari said that the Fujairah camp for the UAE wrestling team, which began yesterday, is of particular importance, in preparation for participating in the Saudi International Championship, which will be followed by participation in the Asian Championship, which will be held in the Uzbek city of Tashkent at the beginning of next May, which qualifies for the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
