Our young national wrestling team concluded its closed training camp, which it held during the period from 19 to 25 December, in cooperation with the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, in preparation for the resumption of activity and the upcoming regional and international participation of the various wrestling teams. The camp included 7 players of different age groups: Hamad Khalifa « Abu Dhabi Sports Club» Khalifa Mohammed Rashid, Abdullah Omran Obaid, Abdullah Rashid Al-Kabbani, Khaled Abdullah Youssef, Khaled Yasser, and Mansour Saif Al-Kandari, Fujairah Martial Arts, under the supervision of Shaaban Al-Sayed, technical director and with the help of coaches Tawfiq Ibrahim and Nawar Khaled Juma, and the international player Badr Al-Ali apologized for special circumstances. It was agreed to hold weekly gatherings starting next January.
Mohammed bin Thaloub Al Deri appreciated the warm welcome and cooperation of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club with the Wrestling and Judo Federation, continuing to support the union’s march since hosting the Asia Pacific Senior Judo Championships, which was held last April 2019, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and the meetings of the Executive Office of the AFC Judo and the meetings of the General Assembly of the Asian Federation, in the presence of the President of the International Judo Federation, which found the judo family in the world praised for the distinguished organizational level and the hospitality that the delegations found, in light of the boom experienced by the Emirate of Fujairah in various fields, stressing that the Federation will be keen during the coming period to rotate the establishment of His championships and competitions at the level of member clubs at the state level, until work is completed in his facilities in the Baniyas area.
