Youssef Al-Batran, a member of the Board of Directors of the Jiu-Jitsu Federation and the official of the clubs and training centers in the Federation, revealed that a press conference will be held next week to announce the official announcement of the game in Fujairah Club, in the presence of a number of union and club officials.

Jiu-Jitsu has entered a new era in the UAE, with a number of large sports clubs joining the game track and engaging in its activities for the first time. Al Jazira, Al Ain, Al Wahda, Bani Yas, Al Dhafra, Al Wasl and Emirates Club have previously announced their joining the game and participating in its various competitions. Clubs after the matter was limited to Abu Dhabi schools and some public and private institutions.

Al-Batwan expressed his happiness with this remarkable movement that the game is witnessing, stressing that it is in the interest of building a broad base of affiliates for high art, which is in the interest of the teams, and provides an inexhaustible source for them, through which they use the most prominent cadres and talents to compete for medals in various tournaments. .

Youssef Al-Batran also praised the winter training camp organized by the Jiu-Jitsu Federation during the last period, and continued for two weeks for the students of Abu Dhabi schools, in coordination with the Abu Dhabi Education Council, noting that the program came within the union’s plans aimed at spreading the culture of the game, expanding its base, and developing its large presence in The school sector, which is considered one of the most important sectors in the process of sports development and supportive of the game’s journey with talents and promising generations.

The program, the first of its kind, witnessed a great participation and a distinguished response from school students, in line with the union’s great endeavor to support promising generations with game skills and refine talents capable of distinguished representation in local and regional tournaments, under the supervision of a group of international coaches specialized in qualifying and graduating promising talents, and supporting them. for the national teams.

The program was held in three different locations, including Abu Dhabi at the Federation of Wrestling, Judo and Kickboxing Hall, Al Ain at Tahnoun bin Mohammed Stadium in Al Qattara, and the Western Region at Al Dhafra Club headquarters.
