Fujairah International Taekwondo Championships kicks off on first of February

This came during a press conference held by the organizing committee yesterday afternoon, at the headquarters of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, in the presence of Abdul Aziz Buhendi, Director of the Office of the General Sports Authority in the Eastern Region, Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, President of the Emirates Taekwondo Federation and Executive Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, Rashid Al Khadim, Secretary General of the Federation and Nader Abu Shawish, Director The technician and a number of game fans and various media outlets to review the latest preparations and the most prominent participants in the event.

Al Zeyoudi also reviewed the future of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club in light of the presence of many promising talents, pointing out that there are a number of studies and strategies aimed at expanding the base of participation after the inclusion of jiu-jitsu and wrestling, in addition to establishing a number of training centers at the emirate level in an effort to qualify Olympic champions. For his part, Abdulaziz Buhendi announced that, coinciding with the "Year of Tolerance", the Zayed Sports Complex in Fujairah will continue to host many events this year within the framework of the great interest that the wise leadership attaches to sports in the country, describing the complex as one of the largest sports facilities in the region and a beacon and pride for all athletes. , and said that it serves large sectors of youth and athletes, noting that the complex recently hosted the Fujairah International Championship for Professional Jiu-Jitsu, as well as the World Taekwondo Championship and the Fujairah International Bodybuilding Championship.
