The countdown to the start of the Taekwondo World Cup and Grand Prix competitions, which will be hosted by Fujairah from 21-25 November, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, organized by the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, and the supervision of the Federation International Taekwondo Federation and the UAE Federation for the game.
The Supreme Organizing Committee held a coordination meeting at the headquarters of the Federation, to discuss the latest preparations for the launch of the global event, which is being organized for the first time on the country's land, and to work to bring it out in an honorable manner.
Brigadier General Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, President of the Emirates Taekwondo Federation and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Championship, said: “By hosting this global event, we look forward to enhancing the sports community’s confidence in the position of Fujairah when hosting sporting events, in addition to supporting Fujairah, which has strongly contributed to the development and success of Taekwondo worldwide. So that it is a realistic translation of the world’s appreciation of the country’s success in the organizational and competitive aspects of the various tournaments.”
