The Organizing Committee of the World Championships in Hungary approved the participation of the UAE national team players, Khalifa Mohammed Al-Hafeiti (weighing under 92 kg), and Abdullah Rashid Al Kayani (weighing under 61 kg), along with their coach and Fujairah Martial Arts coach Tawfiq Ibrahim Al-Sayed, and Shaaban Al-Sayed Shaaban, technical director of the Federation, and agreed Muhammad bin Thaloub Al-Dari, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Wrestling and Judo Federation, announced that the delegation will travel to participate in the tournament, which will be held from July 19 to 25, under the supervision of the International Federation in Budapest.
The wrestling team for juniors under 17 years is organized in its camp, which it is currently staying at the Olympic Sports Center in Maadi in Egypt, and will continue until next Sunday, after which it will return to the country to set up an internal camp hosted by the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, until the date of travel to the Hungarian capital Budapest, July 16.
Participation in the championship comes within the framework of the interest of the Wrestling and Judo Federation, headed by Muhammad bin Thaloub Al-Dari, in the sector of the Sunni stages of wrestling, and after the approval of the General Sports Authority on the participation program, which was continued by Nasser Al-Tamimi, Secretary General of the Federation.
During his call with the mission to check on its safe arrival in Egypt, Al-Dari stood up on the progress of the preparation program planned by the wrestling division, with the participation of the young Egyptian team, with the aim of preparing well for the world championship, and advancing the game again.
