Hamid Al-Naqbi wins European judo bronze

Fujairah Martial Arts Club achieved the first external achievement through its player Hamid Khamis Saeed Al-Naqbi, who won the bronze medal in the weight (35) kg in the Greek International Championship that took place yesterday, during which the Fujairah player managed to win three matches over the Georgian Giano Les Giano and the Greek Turkatis, Then he beat the Dutch Avramides Giorgis, against one loss against the Greek player Stavridis Theodoris, and winning the bronze is the club's first achievement at the level of its international participation in the sport of judo.

Ahmed Hamdan Al-Zeyoudi, Vice Chairman and CEO of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, presented the achievement to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the first supporter of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club and talented athletes, stressing their happiness with this achievement for several reasons, the first of which is that the medal is the first in European championships in addition to technical interest Which our players have benefited from in general and the experiences they obtained, as well as the great moral incentive that the rest of the club’s athletes will have in the future, which encourages them to participate in this type of tournament. Al Zeyoudi said that participating in the Greek International Judo Championship comes based on the generous directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, is heading to the European continent to participate in its championships due to its high-level sports position in all sports and in martial arts games in particular.

Nader Abu Shaweesh, the club’s technical director, confirmed that the competition with the players of 15 advanced European countries in the game is an achievement for the team and the player Hamid Al-Naqbi’s medal will have a direct technical and moral impact on all the club’s players, while Dr. Moh Saleh Al-Mouh, coach of the judo team, confirmed that the achievement was expected compared to what he enjoys Player Hamid Al Naqbi of the potential.

It is noteworthy that the delegation participating in the Greek Championship includes three players: Hamid Khamis Al-Naqbi, Saeed Khamis Saeed and Hazza Fahd bin Abbad, along with coach Muhammad Abdullah.
