The committee supervising the organization of the World Taekwondo Club Championship, which concluded yesterday in the Jordanian capital, Amman, awarded the Cup of the Best Technical Team to Fujairah Martial Arts Club in appreciation of the efforts it made and the results it achieved. The family of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club presented the Best Club Cup to the wise leadership of the state and to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the club's president. The team's players had won six medals, three golds for Omar Al Mazrouei, Yasser Samir and Abdul Basit Muhammad Al Kilani, and two silvers for each. The administrations of all the clubs and teams participating in the Club World Cup expressed their desire to participate in the next edition of the Fujairah Open Taekwondo Championship, which will be held in February 2018, describing it as the strongest tournament in the Arab region and the second in Asia.
