The Fujairah Martial Arts Club swimming team was crowned with the General Excellence Shield for Water Sports for the 2023-2024 season by winning first place in the overall standings out of 13 clubs that competed throughout the season, with a total of 4770 points, 1360 points behind second place, to be added to the balance of other shields achieved by the club in sports. different
The coronation was attended by Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Bushahab, member of the Business Management Committee of the UAE Swimming Federation, and Mr. Ihab Estitieh, Head of the Operations Department at the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, received the shield.
His Excellency Nader Abu Al Shawish, Director of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, said that the club’s receipt of the Excellence Shield is the result of the support, follow-up and interest of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of the Emirate of Fujairah and President of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club.
Which directed the club management to assume leadership of the team, prepare plans, and overcome the difficulties facing the team to be on the podium.
Abu Al-Shawish added that this coronation reflects the efforts of the technical department and its management of the coaches and their keenness to develop appropriate training plans and programs for the team within the new structure implemented by the club and team management under the leadership of Captain Talal Al Ali, which contributed greatly to obtaining the shield, and adding this achievement to the list of achievements. The club has various championships. Abu Al Shawish appreciated the efforts made by the players who performed honorably during the season and were able to break 17 records in swimming at the UAE level.
