The UAE national team won four bronze medals during its participation in the 11th Arab Taekwondo Championship, which concluded yesterday in Morocco.
The girls' team won three bronze medals:
Maryam Al Zarouni weighs 46 kilograms
Manahel Al-Mukhaini weighed 53 kilograms
And Tasneem Al Hadrami, weighing 62 kilograms
While the player Hassan Shubar in the weight of under 58 kilograms won the fourth medal.
The President of the Emirates Taekwondo Federation, Brigadier General Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, dedicated the achievement to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and Honorary President of the Taekwondo Federation and the sports family in the United Arab Emirates.
For the unlimited support of His Highness for the sport of Taekwondo, which contributed to achieve a new leap in Taekwondo in the UAE. Al-Zeyoudi congratulated the players and medal winners, wishing them to achieve more future successes in a manner befitting the name of the UAE sport, through training and determination to achieve success.
He also praised the prominent role of the team's delegation, headed by the Secretary General of the Federation, Rashid Al-Khadim, which contributed to the success of participation and its enhancement by achieving medals.
